About this listen

A completely addictive and unputdownable psychological thriller with a nail-biting twist

‘Hi,’ she says, ‘I’m your new neighbour.’ Her smile is bright but her shoulders are tense as she stands on the leafy green Edinburgh street. She seems friendly. But soon I’ll discover her dangerous secret…

On the first day I meet my new neighbour, we share a glass of wine and talk into the night. We swap numbers and I vow to get to know her better. But as I get closer to her, I discover something about her past that changes everything. She isn’t who I thought she was.

Then when I step into her home, my jaw drops. Everything in here is identical to my own flat – every cushion, every picture on the wall.

Except for the knife, covered in blood. My heart pounds in my chest. What has she done? What is she capable of?

I should never have come here. I should never have got close to her. I need to run.

But then I hear a creak outside the door. And I realise, it may be too late…

An absolutely gripping psychological thriller from multi-million-copy, bestselling author JD Kirk. For anyone who loves Freida McFadden, John Marrs and T.M. Logan.

Clever story, the view point of two entirely different individuals so I found myself investing in both, not knowing who to plum for. I believed they may be one and the same, but that would have been a cop out. Well done author, unputdownable

dark humour

Great book! Intricately weaved into a genuine psychological thrill read.
It grabs you by the neck once one of the twists is revealed.

Loved the twist!

Had my attention from the start. if I'm honest, the very derogatory portrayal of Scottish people was a bit off putting.

Good Read

i dont normally like the two voices type of story but it fits well. uts a little far fetched but a good short book with lots of twists and it keeps you guessing.

good fun with lots of twists.

Felt like it was going to be predictable, but a few good twists!! I really enjoyed, but do wish he'd written another Logan 😂😂
