I absolutely loved this. Who knew a psychotic, baby-girl mafia stalker would be so amazing 🤣

Achilles had me laughing one minute and low-key emotional the next such a complex character and ridiculously entertaining. For characters that are this dark and toxic, their story was surprisingly romantic and sweet… with a massive side of completely unhinged energy.

It wasn’t predictable at all either I genuinely had no idea how we were going to get to a satisfying ending, but it kept me hooked the whole way through.

Now I’m dying to know whose story is next 👀 I need to know more about Luca or Alex ASAP.

Also… as long as we keep getting Tiernan as Corvin doing that Irish accent, I’m sold every single time 👌

I recently had the pleasure of reading Bad Bishop, my first book by LJ Shen and I immediately wanted to get stuck into the next book.. come 6am this morning and I was all over it!

If you want a book thats passionate, secy, spicy, yearning, then read this. I loved it. Even more than Bad Bishop. The characters are great. I enjoyed the storyline. The narrators are excellent too. Can't wait for ths third book.
