Toxic love at its best. This series is so good. I enjoyed Tierney and Achilles story although in real life this relationship would be painful.

Achilles has always looked out for Tierney. Any guy that was ever showed interested in her was put to the ultimate test. One that they couldn’t come back from. He is in charge of her security and knows everything about her life. He’s overbearing, unhinged and totally addicted to her.

Their banter is full of hate but it’s really their love language. Their unspoken words are the strongest. Their past a shard of glass drawing them together and tearing them apart.

Achilles has finally got to give up his obsession or he’s going to pull them both down. Tierney is supposed to follow the path chosen by her family. Can these two finally let go or will this be their undoing?

This is a mafia romance which is dark and intense. It probably has some trigger warnings too. The audiobook is read to perfection and I can’t wait for more in the Society of Villains.

From the moment the main characters first crossed paths, the tension was off the charts, but what really sold me was how their relationship evolved from manipulation and power plays into something raw and emotionally vulnerable. Watching the walls slowly come down, especially when past traumas and hidden motivations started to surface, made every interaction feel loaded with meaning.

i really liked it. it was a heavy book but i loved every second of it. the plot wasn't much but it was enough to keep me on my toes and to want more of the romance!!!
