This audiobook is read by the authors, Mo Gawdat and Alice Law.

From the author of Scary Smart, Unstressable applies Mo Gawdat's brilliant engineering mind and Alice Law's stress-management expertise to the 'stress pandemic'.

'Everything he writes is an enlightening education in how to be human.' - Elizabeth Day

This follow up to bestselling Solve For Happy will show you that chronic stress is not an unavoidable part of modern life, but a predictable – and therefore preventable – response, often as much to do with negative thought patterns as external circumstances. Mo explains how he made it through the most acutely stressful times in his own life, and the book touches on the idea of post-traumatic growth – both on a personal level and in response to huge events that affected all of us, such as the COVID pandemic and subsequent economic turmoil.

Practical exercises will help you build up the skills to manage stress no matter your circumstances, backed up by neuroscience and accessible psychology.

The way Mo and Alice both explain and describe all the faces of stress in an extremely understandable but professional way is unmatched. Would recommend to anyone that wants to better their lives.

This audiobook offers a wealth of practical advice and tools that are incredibly helpful for anyone looking to manage stress more effectively. I found myself wishing for a physical copy of the book, as there are so many insights I'd like to highlight and revisit.

The audiobook is quite lengthy, with extensive sections that require dedicated attention. I’m glad I committed to finishing it, even though it took me a while to get through. The content is thought-provoking and often necessitates breaks to fully absorb the material.

One of the aspects I particularly appreciated was Gawdat's ability to weave his own first-hand experiences into the narrative, making the lessons feel more tangible and relatable. The latter parts of the book stood out to me the most, as they brought the concepts to life in a way that felt both inspiring and actionable.

Overall, I would highly recommend "Unstressable" to anyone looking to gain practical tools for managing stress and leading a more balanced life. It’s a commitment, but one that pays off with valuable insights. 💫

While I do not agree with the spiritual, more esoteric parts, the rest is good, got useful advices.

Both authors were very clear and gave many examples as well as instructions and guidelines. It was a bit longer than I would have liked however I found useful tips to try out. I also appreciated that they both shared their personal very painful stories.

Informative & personable
