Summary

What would you do in a worldwide food shortage? Do you want to learn how to source organic-free food whilst enjoying time with friends and family? If you want to learn the number one most underrated survival skill, then keep listening….

We've all heard horror stories about foragers picking the wrong leaf and it ultimately leading them to their demise. It's understandable that so many people are apprehensive about foraging. From a young age, our curiosity would have been abruptly interrupted by the terrifying screech from our parents “Don't touch that plant!”

I mean, that was still great advice from your parents however, this also meant that you missed out on all of the amazing possibilities forging offers. Most parents just don't have the knowledge to educate their children, and instead instill us with the same doubts and fears that they have.

Going out alone with the intention of finding something to eat in the wild is no simple endeavor, and even just knowing where to start can be a challenge for many.

In this book, you will discover:

  • Why it doesn't matter if you are a complete beginner
  • The most important steps you can take to forage safely
  • A simple 3-step method you can use today for correct identification
  • A little-known weed that is more nutritious than broccoli, spinach, and kale put together
  • A nutritional powerhouse that you can find all year round
  • Over 40 wild food recipes that taste great
  • Why so many foragers are talking about this one mushroom you never knew you could eat

You can get started today even if you are a complete beginner and will learn a lot even if you're an experienced forager too. Just add to the cart a let's get going.

Why forage though? Why not just go to the supermarket? Foraging can be a hobby to share with friends, family, and pets. It's free to do and it reduces stress. Foraging not only connects you with nature but also provides a level of self-sufficiency parallel to none.

The biggest reason to learn this incredible skill though is this…

You will always be able to feed yourself and your family even if you have no money. You can literally walk outside right now, find some plants and transplant-free food in your own garden to grow and eat later.

Wild plants are organic and “Non-GMO”. They are rich in nutrients and pesticide free. Who doesn't want free organic food to save on grocery bills? Some other benefits of foraging are

  • You can do it anywhere
  • Its healthy exercise
  • It's a fun outdoor activity
  • Foraging encourages natural mindfulness
  • You can also make money doing it by selling delicacies to local restaurants
  • Wild foods often come with healing benefits too

Foraging is a term I would normally not have paid attention to, but this book explains what it is all about and why it is a viable alternative to wildlife living. The author does a good job of showing how one can use different types of plants as healthier dietary options. It was interesting to listen to these new concepts.

Foraging is very popular and with the constantly rising food costs, I'm not surprised. However, you can't just eat anything you find as some plants are poisonous. This book explains which plants are nutritious and which to avoid. The book is well-presented and the narration is good. It's an interesting audiobook that will help you to identify the right plants to forage and how to cook them.

What a fantastic audiobook! I truly had no idea how to tell which of these wild plants are edible and which are not, but this audiobook has been quite helpful in assisting me in determining which plants I can eat, which I cannot, and which are toxic. I strongly advise everyone to listen to this audiobook since it will help them recognise any plant. Thanks to the author for creating such a wonderful audiobook and to the narrator for his enthusiastic reading, which makes the book more engaging and easy to understand.
