SERMON: Uncommon Hope: Embracing Change in a Broken World

    SCRIPTURE: JOHN 11:21-27

““Lord,” Martha said to Jesus, “if you had been here, my brother would not have died. But I know that even now God will give you whatever you ask.” Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.” Martha answered, “I know he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.” Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” “Yes, Lord,” she replied, “I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.””

    ‭‭John‬ ‭11‬:‭21‬-‭27‬ ‭NIV‬‬

    Sermon: At The Cross

    Scripture: Luke 23:32-35

“Two other men, both criminals, were also led out with him to be executed. When they came to the place called the Skull, they crucified him there, along with the criminals—one on his right, the other on his left. Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots. The people stood watching, and the rulers even sneered at him. They said, “He saved others; let him save himself if he is God’s Messiah, the Chosen One.””

    ‭‭Luke‬ ‭23‬:‭32‬-‭35‬ ‭NIV‬‬

INTRODUCTION: The cross is the place where OUR WORST met GOD'S BEST!

  • Palm Sunday: Welcome the King...or Just Like the Post! - Archie Callahan
    Mar 29 2026

    March 29, 2026

    Palm Sunday
Sermon Title: Welcome the King... or Just Like the Post!

    Scripture: Matthew 21:6-11

“The disciples went and did as Jesus had instructed them. They brought the donkey and the colt and placed their cloaks on them for Jesus to sit on. A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Hosanna in the highest heaven!” When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, “Who is this?” The crowds answered, “This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee.””

    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭21‬:‭6‬-‭11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

INTRODUCTION: If Jesus showed up on your social feed today, would He get a like — or your life?

    Three things we see:

    Public Honor (v. 8)

A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road.

    Cloaks laid down= Surrender

    Palms waved= Celebration

    Passionate Praise (v. 9)

The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Hosanna in the highest heaven!”

    Hosanna= "Save us now"

    Puzzled Perception (vv. 10-11)

When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, “Who is this?” The crowds answered, “This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee.””

    Who is this?

CONCLUSION: Don't just like Jesus give your life to Jesus today!
