"After-birth abortion: why should the baby live?"

That horrifying question isn’t edgy clickbait—it’s the actual title of a peer-reviewed article published in one of the world’s leading bioethics journals. The authors argue that killing a newborn (what they call “after-birth abortion”) should be permissible in all the same cases as abortion, even when the infant is perfectly healthy.
