• 5PM: Should Brewers Go ALL IN for Skubal? Plus, Jim's AI-Generated Old Guy Playlist
    Jun 18 2026
Jim Rutledge holds it down for the final show of the week with producer Riley Jauch moving over to the host chair while Molly Brown is out. They open the show talking about Jim's day at an estate-planning themed golf outing, where he tried to liven the mood with an AI-generated music playlist designed for 40-to to 50-year-old dudes! Young Riley and producer Primetime try to guess the oldies on Jim's AI playlist, and they open up the Carbliss Talk/Text Line -- how many songs can the Molly & Jim listeners get from the playlist??? After getting groovy for 30 minutes, they pivot to today's Brewers news that Quinn Priester will now officially miss the entire season -- so, will they finally pull the trigger to trade for Tarik Skubal? They hear from ESPN's Jeff Passan, who agrees with Jim that the Brewers should finally take the big risk for Skubal, and they ask today's Siding Unlimited poll question: Is the point of watching sports to see your team win a title? They also talk to the listeners who'd argue that different rules apply in the MLB, where the sport is never on a truly even playing field. Jim & Riley wrap up the show with another Brewers question -- are the Brewers taking steps toward success with each season they fall short of the World Series, and will this finally be the year that they take the final step in the postseason?

  • 5PM: Brewers Are the Best-Run Team in Wisconsin? Plus, Packers TV Rights Conflict??
    Jun 17 2026
Molly & Jim roll on live from Breese Stevens Field ahead of tonight's Forward Madison FC match! They continue their conversation about the Brewers from the end of Hour 1, asking today's Siding Unlimited poll question -- Are the Brewers the best-run team in the state of Wisconsin? They discuss how the Brewers consistently get such a high return on their minimal investment, and they dive deeper into which team that Wisconsin sports fans have the highest expectations for! They pivot to the Packers and the franchise's SCATHING comments toward a Wisconsin state representative who wants to change the broadcasting rights for the NFL -- how foolish is it to come out against the Green & Gold IN WISCONSIN??? Plus, could a change to the Sports Business Act actually cause the NFL to change it's TV plan to more of an MLB or NBA model, and which league has the best TV plan for the fans? They wrap up the show with a question from caller Will in Madison (who's from NYC) -- when do expectations have to change for Wisconsin sports fans across the board???

  • 4PM: Is Giannis Still Worth a King's Ransom? Plus, Parking Ticket Nighmares!
    Jun 17 2026
Molly & Jim broadcast live from Breese Stevens Field ahead of Forward Madison's game tonight -- but it's actually Jim & producer Riley at the stadium with Molly holding it down from the Zoo (aka her home)! They begin the show with parking ticket frustrations after yesterday's other remote broadcast -- why was Jim the only one dealing with parking headaches, and how much money did Riley "donate" to UW's parking enforcement during his college career? Caller Carlito the Badger-Bear also tells us his one-of-a-kind dream & nightmare parking stories on a Wisconsin football gameday! They continue the conversation with how Jim got ARRESTED for parking tickets! Also, is Riley's bike going to get totaled??? They shift into the ongoing trade rumors around Giannis and the surprising lack of interest from other NBA teams -- they hear Gabe Neitzel's bold take and discuss: is Giannis still worth a "King's Ransom" in a trade? Also, who's more to blame for his apparent lack of trade value? They wrap up Hour 1 with Jim's new working theory for the Brewers -- are they successful during the regular season because of the LACK of pressure from Milwaukee's fans? Also, why does Molly think that Mark Attanasio might be changing his tune about just being happy with a "summer of fun"???
