Food sensitivities, nutrition, and diet impact myself and my kids almost as much as lifestyle supports.

While I can’t diagnose or treat any condition, I will share how learning about various neurodivergent sensitivities in our bodies has helped my family get further out of burnout, and how you can approach troubleshooting and supporting physical health in a PDA-affirming way.

As part of my burnout healing Repairing the NET series I talk about how viewing every aspect of my life through the lens of “relationship” has lifted roadblocks that I otherwise couldn’t get though.

Relationship applies to how I help my kids troubleshoot, and explains why I would rather back off from tasks that are too difficult for now in order to preserve our relationship to that task for when our capacity grows.

As part of my “Repairing the NET” burnout recovery I mention how I find that an 80/20 ratio in my life as a way to feel balanced long-term 💕

    • how 80/20 applies to my projects
    • using 80/20 to find low-stress community environments
    • “Stacking” 80/20 (like the golden ratio) as I adjust to unexpected stressors

I am trying to find out more about PDA as my asd diagnosed daughter I strongly suspect has it and none of the parent guides of how to parent asd are working for us. I literally read them and am like no way will she accept this. I have found PDA only just coming more spoken about and this is great to get a first hand experience being talked about, it's great to understand from someone living it how I can in turn help my child.
