Stephanie Mitchell Hughes has learned to navigate life’s challenges or hard places with fearlessness, creativity, grit, and grace. On Resilience 2.0, Stephanie and her podcast partner, Gareth Wax, encourage listeners to courageously and fully embrace their own hard places.

Stephanie’s own story is one of starting over with two children, two months of outstanding mortgage payments, an empty refrigerator, and $120.00, decades spent wrestling with depression and suicidal thinking, and overcoming one barrier after another. She is a longtime attorney, mental health advocate, writer, TEDx speaker, and Spelman woman determined to rise in the midst of adversity.

Gareth, a well-traveled Englishman living in the United Kingdom, is an autistic and ADHD social media specialist and musician, with considerable experience navigating his own hard places and barriers. Stephanie and Gareth are two misfits who built resilience within systems that were not designed for them.

Resilience 2.0 is for those who want to learn how Stephanie, Gareth, and their guests navigate adversity while living life out loud. Occasionally, listeners will also hear them muse and reflect on resilience in a world rife with uncertainty. This is not a space for political discourse, although we acknowledge that politics affects us all.

Resilience 2.0 with Stephanie Mitchell Hughes and Gareth Wax is available on Apple, Amazon, Spotify and everywhere you find podcasts.
