  • Episode 270 w/ Geoff Knupfer
    May 28 2026

From sitting across the table from two of England's most notorious serial killers, Myra Hindley and Ian Brady, to heading up the investigation to locate the bodies of the 17 people disappeared during the Troubles in the North, Geoff Knupfer has had a fascinating career.

He sat down with us and took us back to his investigation of the Moor Murders and how a chance question led them to recovering the body of one of the five children killed by Hindley and Brady.

Geoff headed up the Independent Commission for the Location of Victims' Remains in the North, a body tasked with gathering confidential information and using it, not for a criminal case, but to find the bodies of The Disappeared and bring them home to allow the families to get closure. He told us about how it felt to discover the first body and how important the immunity offered by the commission is.

f you have any information about the location of the remains of The Disappeared, however small, please contact the Independent Commission for the Location of Victims' Remains by leaving a confidential voice message on +353 1 602 8655 or emailing secretary@iclvr.ie

  • Episode 268 w/ Wayne Waldron
    May 20 2026

Wayne Waldron signed up to his first ever marathon on a whim a few years ago. He finished the race in under three hours. A time that many runners couldn’t achieve with months of training behind them, never mind with one weeks notice like Wayne had. And he did it all in a pair of Nike Air Max.

Since that first race, Wayne has gone on to become one of the country’s best Ultramarathon runners, getting a sub 3 hours 50 km with just seconds to spare. He talked about how he doesn’t always agree with Strava and posting every run and explained why you should be able to sing while you’re running and how important it is to follow a running plan.

And look, if he can coach Terence back to running after literal brain surgery, we know his advice is worth listening to.

True crime series Lines Of Enquiry launched in November and has very quickly taken off. This week we spoke to the host, John Sweetman a former Garda who specialised in fingerprints and handwriting analysis.

John isn't your typical copper and his background was actually in animating a childhood classic the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
