In the summer of 2019, Luna visited Deep River, Tennessee — a town of three hundred people, one gas station, and a church that had been boarded up since 1982. The hinges on the main doors still turned, though. An old man named Everett told her the story of the last Sunday service, when the doors wouldn't open from the outside, and the hinges began to scream. What crawled out through the walls afterward was never found. Luna tells you what she saw in the basement, in the light of a dying flashlight, with the smell of something damp and old rising through the floorboards.
