On this Make A Difference Minute, I’m sharing a simple but powerful reminder. Being seen matters. You might be surrounded by people and still feel alone, and the same is true for someone you pass every day. A genuine check-in, a kind word, or simply noticing someone can change more than you realize. Join me for this message about connection, awareness, and how small moments can make a big difference. • A Chance to Save a Life: Rory Amos Needs a Kidney Donor
    Apr 19 2026
On this Make A Difference Minute, I’m sharing the story of Rory Amos, a husband, a father, and a hardworking man who is in need of a kidney donor. Rory addresses one of the biggest concerns people have about donation, the cost, and explains how his insurance covers it. He also shares how even if you’re not a direct match, you can still help through paired donation programs that connect donors and recipients. This is an opportunity to make a real difference, not only for Rory, but for many others in need. To learn more or consider becoming a donor, visit nkr.org/TFG957. • Rebel Jam 2026: Standing with Kam Bryant
    Apr 18 2026
On this Make A Difference Minute, I’m joined by my friend Marvin Leathers to talk about the 7th Annual Rebel Jam happening May 16th in Winfield, Alabama. This year’s event is centered around 4-year-old Kam Bryant, a young boy who survived a drowning accident and now requires around-the-clock care at home. Marvin shares Kam’s story, the daily reality his parents Kevin and Kasey face, and how the community is stepping up to help with medical equipment, travel, and ongoing care needs. Rebel Jam is more than a music festival. It’s a way for people to come together and support a family walking through something most of us can’t imagine. If you can’t attend, you can still support through Venmo @RebelJam. This Make A Difference Minute is brought to you by Hydration Lounge, proudly supporting stories and the people who make our communities strong. Real stories. Real people. Real impact.
