The tropes that have somehow survived decades of filmmaking despite every audience member on earth screaming at their screen. The little things — and the big things — that pull you right out of a film and remind you that someone, somewhere, made a terrible decision.

    You know the ones. The character who trips and falls while running from the killer. The person who DOESN'T turn on the lights when they hear a noise. The villain who explains his entire plan instead of just finishing the job. The "chosen one" who somehow masters everything in a montage. The phone call that ends with no goodbye.
