The paintings are ugly, but the crime scenes are grisly. When a local restauranteur hires private investigator C.T. Ferguson to look into a couple of art thefts, he’s confused. The missing paintings are hideous. Even the owner agrees. The thief, however, is willing to kill to keep C.T. off his trail.

When C.T. makes a shocking discovery, he and Rich attract the wrong kind of attention.
