The sky above Eterra was never real.

For generations, the people of the city believed the Dome was their shield, their prison, and their proof that nothing existed beyond the world they had been allowed to see. But the lie is breaking. The false heavens are beginning to crack, ancient systems are stirring beneath the ruins, and something far older than the city itself has started to wake.

Aelit survived the descent into the buried depths of Eterra, but survival has changed her. Marked by powers she does not fully understand and haunted by truths that were never meant to be uncovered, she is no longer just a fugitive fighting to stay alive. She has become a threat to everything the False God built.

Every level of Eterra reveals a new horror. Rusted industrial underworlds give way to shattered transit networks, hidden Architect vaults, sacred machines, and the gleaming upper sanctums where luxury and cruelty have always lived side by side. The deeper they climb, the clearer it becomes that the city was never only a kingdom of oppression. It was also a mask. A barrier. A carefully maintained illusion built to conceal a truth too vast and too dangerous for ordinary minds to bear.
