Dr. Hart is a Professor of Psychology at Texas Woman’s University, where he is the Director of the Psychological Science program as well as the Director of the Human Deception Laboratory. His research focuses on lying and other forms of deception. His book, Pathological Lying: Theory, Research, and Practice was published by the American Psychological Association. Additionally, he has a forthcoming book, Big Liars, with the American Psychological Association. Dr. Hart is also a contributor to Psychology Today.
