Eric Gene Davis is a veteran, writer, and devoted student of the examined life. He lives in Duluth, Minnesota with his wife of sixteen years, Shannon, where he spends his days reading deeply, writing honestly, and searching for the kind of truth that can actually help people live better lives. Eric does not write as a pastor or a polished expert. He writes as a fellow traveler—someone who has wrestled with hardship, faith, discipline, doubt, and the daily work of becoming a better man. His work blends Scripture, reflection, and lived experience into practical encouragement for ordinary people facing real life. His debut devotional, 31 Days of Grace & Grit, grew out of years of personal journaling and reflection. The book invites readers to slow down, think deeply, and discover that God’s grace and human perseverance often work together in quiet but powerful ways. Eric believes that faith is not just something to talk about on Sundays. It is something to live with courage on ordinary days, in ordinary homes, through ordinary struggles.
