Trained in neuroscience and psychiatry, Frank W. Putnam has made important contributions to the identification, treatment, and prevention of child maltreatment and maternal depression. The recipient of numerous awards from diverse professional organizations for the impact of his work, Dr. Putnam is Professor of Psychiatry at the University of North Carolina and Emeritus Professor of Pediatrics at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
