John Zada is an author, journalist and photographer based in Toronto, Canada. His first book, 'In the Valleys of the Noble Beyond: In Search of the Sasquatch', was chosen as an Amazon Best Book of 2019 and was shortlisted for the 2020 Edna Staebler Award for Creative Non-Fiction. The Washington Post describes it as "a quirky and oddly captivating tale." Zada's third book, 'The Patchwork Cloak of Kamal Bey: An East-West Memoir', about his years working as a journalist in the Middle East, won a 2026 Independent Publisher Book Award (IPPY) for travel writing. John's work has appeared in such publications as the Globe & Mail, Toronto Star, The Guardian, The Telegraph, Travel + Leisure, BBC, CBC, Al-Jazeera, Explore, Maisonneuve, Montecristo, The Literary Review of Canada, and the Los Angeles Review of Books.
