Lucia Van Bebber was born in Perry, Oklahoma. After completing her university studies, Lucia began her career as an international attorney and later to become an international business consultant. Such opportunities took Lucia to live on six continents. Her passion for travel and wildlife inspired her to write stories for children in the hope of inspiring them to learn more about wildlife and wildlife conservation to help save so many animals that are now on the endangered species list and are on the verge of extinction. Lucia started The LVB Project to promote education about wildlife as well as wildlife conservation and the protection of animals in all countries. A portion of all proceeds received through the sale of all Life of Kai books and products on The LVB Project website will go to organizations that help protect endangered or abused animals. . Lucia currently lives in Rabat, Morocco.
