MARIE D. JONES Marie D. Jones is the best-selling author of over 30 non-fiction books, novels, novellas, over two dozen fun and funky journals, and numerous short stories. She has written hundreds of guest blogs, magazine articles, essays, reviews and newsletters. Her non-fiction books have received many accolades and five-star reviews and cover everything from the paranormal to metaphysics to the power of the mind to the history of propaganda and mind control to toxins in our food, water and air and natural healing. Her middle grade novel, "Bullies Beware, EKHO is Here!" is based on her son's real-life spy group he started in grade school, and her fantasy novel, "The Shapeshifter Stone" has received numerous accolades on InkIt. She and her writing partner Denise Agnew have also written horror "scrovels," which are script-to-novels or novellas based on their horror screenplays. She also has a supernatural romantasy, "Freak," and is working on several new novels. Marie has been on television on the History Channel's "Ancient Aliens" and "Nostradamus Effect" series, and served as a special UFO/abduction consultant for the promo campaign for the 2009 Universal Pictures science fiction movie, "The Fourth Kind." She has been interviewed on thousands of podcasts and radio shows all over the world, including Coast To Coast AM, NPR, KPBS Radio, Dreamland, the X-Zone, Paranormal Podcast, Cut to the Chase, World of the Unexplained, and the Shirley MacLaine Show. She has contributed chapters, essays, and interviews to dozens of books and publications and has been a staff writer for Intrepid Magazine, Paranoia Magazine, FATE Magazine in the past. She often writes for New Dawn Magazine. She is also currently a screenwriter and producer. Her romcom, written with Dianna Ippolito, "Mistletoe Connection," appears every holiday season on UPtv. Her thriller, written with Denise Agnew, "Secrets Beneath the Floorboards," appears on Lifetime Movie Network and on Amazon Prime as "House of Lies." She wrote and co-produced three short films, including "KINGS BOULEVARD" for Rockchalk Pictures, and "GRADUATION AFTERNOON" for IronTree Films based on the Stephen King short story for his famous Dollar Baby program. Her horror, thriller, and science fiction screenplays with Denise A. Agnew have placed highly in major competitions. She is a trained disaster response and preparedness CERT, Community Emergency Response Team, member and has also trained with the Red Cross and is an amateur radio operator (KI6YES). She is also a horse racing enthusiast owning shares in many horses, including Authentic, who won the 2020 Kentucky Derby and Breeders Cub. She is also a long-time member of MUFON, the Mutual UFO Network, and ran her own MUFON group in the past. She has written about the UFO phenomenon for a number of publications and was a field investigator in the 1990s. She lives in Southern California.
