At eighteen, Peter Rimmer left England for Africa, a journey that would shape the course of his life and inspire the sweeping stories he became known for. After serving in the Royal Air Force and building a successful international business, he turned to his true passion, writing. His breakthrough novel, Cry of the Fish Eagle, became a bestseller, followed by Vultures in the Wind. He later created The Brigandshaw Chronicles, an ambitious multi-generational series spanning continents and decades, rich in history, family, and the landscapes he knew so well. Peter spent over twenty-five years living quietly in Knysna, South Africa. He passed away in 2018, leaving behind a remarkable legacy of stories now being shared with readers around the world by his family.
