Robert T. Muller PhD is the award-winning author of the psychotherapy bestsellers: "Trauma & the Struggle to Open Up" & "Trauma & the Avoidant Client." An international speaker, interviewed by publications such as "Business Insider," "The Walrus," and "Rolling Stone," Dr. Muller is the 2024 recipient of the Pierre Janet Award in Trauma Scholarship. He is a fellow of the International Society for the Study of Trauma & Dissociation, and is a lead investigator on several multi-site programs to treat interpersonal trauma. He founded and publishes an online magazine, "The Trauma & Mental Health Report," which shares knowledge about trauma and mental health with the community at large. He supervises, teaches, and practices trauma therapy in Toronto, Canada.
