Christmas can be deadly…

I continue to love the characters, and for that reason, believe I will read any further DCI Ryan Mysteries. However, Belsay was far too short and so predictable.

A little predictable

A really fast moving plot which is not easy for the listener to solve and has a good twist to it. The usual characters’ back story is equally compelling especially for someone like myself who has followed the whole series from Book 1 - Holy Island. Jonathan Keeble has as usual narrated this most recent book by JLRoss and I hope he continues to do future books too. The characters all sound natural, whether male or female and are easily recognised. I forgot to mention it ends with a shock which leaves everyone waiting avidly for the next book to be released! All in all a very entertaining listen.

Another enjoyable listen, I just wish it was longer. You know the author is brilliant when you pray and look forward to every new copy because you are excited to see what happens with each character and you know the narrator is the best one for the job when said character comes alive in your mind. I really hope this isn't the last i hear of DCI Ryan and his awesome team and friends.
