Cast aside and left to fend for himself, he trains alone in the Moonlight Forest, honing the strange power he is fortunate enough to call his own. Amid beasts and moonlit dangers, he finds friends and power. Enough to face the creatures he fears the most as they descend once more.

After surviving the impossible, David returns to the Earthen Union forever changed. A god’s heart beats within his chest; an engine of power that no mortal body was meant to contain. Now he must learn to control it, master it, and rise far beyond what he once was because the final confrontation is coming, and only a god can hope to make a change.
