Eine Auszeit – die ist dringend nötig nach den ganzen Hiobsbotschaften der vergangenen Tage. Seit wir auf einer weiteren Gala von Wikinger-Alpha Fynn Hansen waren, ist nicht nur Adrian aufgewühlter denn je. Was wir dort erfahren haben, könnte nämlich das Ende meiner Rudelzeit bedeuten.

Aber man könnte die zweite Hälfte meines ersten Omega-Tages und des Tages darauf tatsächlich in drei Etappen mit diesen Überschriften einteilen. Oh und nicht zu vergessen, der Titanic-Moment im High Line Park. Auf jeden Fall kommen die Geheimnisse meines Rudels so langsam ans Licht – ich bin aber auch mittlerweile eine hervorragende Rudel-Journalistin geworden.

Dass ich mal als Lebensretterin bezeichnet werde, hätte ich auch nicht gedacht. Und doch bin ich nicht stolz darauf, denn es ist das, was jede Omega an meiner Stelle tun würde. Der Alpha braucht meine Hilfe und ich bin für ihn da. Gleichzeitig gerät das Rudel etwas außer Kontrolle ohne seine starke Führung – aber dadurch komme ich meinen Betas näher. Sowohl im übertragenen als auch im wörtlichen Sinn. Und ... da gibt es jemanden, der meine ganze Welt mit einem einzigen Drink über den Haufen werfen wird. Nur so viel: Bestellt euch nie einen ›Midnight Whisper‹!
