With regular practise Metta (loving kindness) can be cultivated and grown (bhavana) into a very strong emotion that has the potential to affect every aspect of your life including your interactions with others. Learn to Meditate - Metta Bhavana contains two easy to follow guided meditations to help you develop and learn this powerful technique. The easy-to-follow sessions can be used again and again to help you overcome common obstacles such as restlessness and anxiety, a mind that won't focus, sleepiness and distraction. Everyone struggles in meditation at sometime with restlessness and anxiety, a mind that won't focus - leaping from thought to thought or constantly replaying an event or conversation, with sleepiness or a mind that becomes bored or distracted

This audio contains two different 35-minute meditation sessions to help you learn the valuable meditation technique of the mindfulness of breathing. Both of the sessions begin with a body awareness section which works to focus your mind onto your body and your breath. In the first session you will learn how to observe and become completely aware of the flow of your breath using your fingers to mark each breath. The second session naturally progresses the technique. At the end of each session you are encouraged to sit quietly for a few minutes to absorb the techniques.
